Tim Bradley Compares O’Shaquie Foster To Terence Crawford

Tim Bradley sees a lot of Terence Crawford in O’Shaquie Foster. The Hall of Fame former two-division world champion offered high praise for Foster while reviewing his recent performance on his YouTube channel, comparing the former WBC super featherweight champion to one of boxing’s most accomplished fighters.

“That damn boy O’Shaquie Foster. 2.0 to Crawford. 2.0 Crawford,” said Bradley on his channel.

“That boy is bad. He ain’t got the punching power or the killer instinct of a Terence Crawford. But damn, he can do it from both sides. He’s smooth on both sides.”

Bradley spent much of his breakdown praising Foster’s ring IQ, adaptability, and ability to make adjustments during fights. He believes those traits separate Foster from many fighters in the division and allow him to control opponents with his movement, feints, and timing.

“That’s probably boxing IQ when you able to decipher through that. And that’s O’Shaquie Foster,” Bradley said.

The praise didn’t stop there.

Bradley also discussed a potential fight between O’Shaquie and Shakur Stevenson, a matchup that has generated increasing interest since Foster called out Stevenson following his victory over Raymond Ford.

While Bradley ultimately favors Shakur, he believes O’Shaquie would present more problems than many fans expect.

“This is the reason why I feel like O’Shaquie gives Shakur some issues,” Bradley said.

“Do I think he’ll beat Shakur? No. Hell no. But I think he got a damn good chance in upsetting the apple cart.”

Bradley pointed to Foster’s experience, versatility, and ability to fight from different stances as reasons why he believes the former champion could make things uncomfortable for Stevenson.

Still, Bradley still sees Stevenson edging the contest if the fight is made. What he doesn’t agree with is the growing belief that O’Shaquie would be completely outclassed.

Based on Bradley’s assessment, Foster’s skill set may be good enough to make a potential showdown far more competitive than many fans currently expect.
