The Nurburgring 24 Hours is under way at the Nordschleife as Max Verstappen aims to add to his Formula 1 honours.
The Dutchman is driving a Winward Mercedes AMG GT3 along with Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon and Dani Juncadella in a bid to emerge victorious, but faces stiff opposition led by the reigning champion Rowe BMW squad, which has retained three of its four winning drivers.
The race starts at 2pm BST on Saturday 16 May.
