“Well, you never know. You know what I mean? I think he can make that weight if he want to,” said Prince to Fighthype, talking about a fight between Shakur and Haney.

“But as I told him, Shakur is 135 pounds. They 147. So out of the 12 pounds, we willing to take eight. We ain’t even saying meet us halfway.

“So, you never know. I don’t count them out because certain numbers a lot of times change a man mind, right? You never know.”

Prince also said discussions continue regarding Stevenson’s next fight after recently capturing the WBO light welterweight title at 140 pounds.

“It’s in the air right now. We regrouping. We replanning and real soon people going to know,” said Prince.

Shakur moved up earlier this year and defeated Teofimo Lopez to win the WBO 140-pound title. Stevenson already held titles in three weight classes before moving to 140.

Haney has continued competing at welterweight following his move up from 140 pounds after fights against Ryan Garcia, Brian Norman Jr., and Mario Barrios.

Prince also discussed unbeaten lightweight contender Abdullah Mason, who returns this month in his hometown of Cleveland.

“I’m excited most of all because Abdullah Mason is fighting at home,” said Prince.

“I got a long history with Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, the whole Midwest was one of the first to embrace my movement with Rap-A-Lot.

“They ought to be real proud of their kid.”
