The deal guarantees DAZN a steady pipeline of Matchroom events, with more than 30 fight nights per year scheduled to air on the service. That volume ensures DAZN retains one of boxing’s most consistent promotional suppliers, while Matchroom maintains a stable outlet for its core roster across two of the sport’s most important markets.
Matchroom chairman Eddie Hearn made clear the extension reflects a deliberate decision to continue building alongside DAZN rather than testing other broadcast options.
Long-term commitment

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev also emphasized the importance of securing Matchroom long-term.
“Our new five-year deal with Matchroom Boxing builds on the success of our longstanding partnership and reaffirms DAZN as the global home of boxing,” Segev said. “Matchroom Boxing trusts DAZN to deliver the best experiences for the biggest fights for boxing fans everywhere.”
The agreement also expands Matchroom’s distribution footprint into Australia through DAZN’s Foxtel platform, which will carry seven Matchroom events in 2026. That addition gives Matchroom a wider international reach without requiring new broadcast negotiations outside the DAZN system.
Matchroom’s roster includes Anthony Joshua, Katie Taylor, Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez, Dmitry Bivol, and Jaron Ennis, all of whom are now positioned to remain part of DAZN’s schedule under the extended agreement. The extension confirms Matchroom has chosen platform stability over flexibility, anchoring its events and fighters to DAZN as the company continues building its subscription boxing model.
