PREM stars fear that someone they know is tipping off burglars.
Several have been spooked by last month’s raid on the home of Man City star Ruben Dias and girlfriend Maya Jama.
Ruben, 28, was at the Etihad at the time for City’s win over Galatasary while Maya, 31, was in South Africa filming Love Island.
But players are speculating it may have been an inside job as Ruben was injured and did not have be at the stadium.
A source said: “Lots of players at the top clubs are enemies on the pitch but friends off it. They all talk to each other and the big thing they all fear is that someone they trust is betraying them.
“They use the same barbers, car guys, estate agents, removal men and builders.

“Once a tradesman is trusted by one player, they will get recommended, then they are in with all the players at that club.
“Some are worried there is a rogue element who is helping them get robbed.”
Police are investigating the January 28 break-in at Ruben and Maya’s £4million pad in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Raiders are believed to have stolen more than £1million of designer watches, jewellery, handbags and clothes despite the high-tech security.
A string of footballers have been hit by “away day gangs” who know their target will not be in.
Jack Grealish and partner Sasha Attwood have since offered Maya and Ruben support, we can reveal. In 2023 their home was raided as Sasha watched Jack play for City on TV.
A source said: “They wanted to let them know they had been through a similar scenario, how tough it was to deal with, but ultimately they got through it.”

Elliot’s in dog club
ENGLAND midfielder Elliot Anderson is the latest football star to buy a protection dog for his family.
The Nottingham Forest ace got a German shepherd to guard his property after a string of raids on players’ homes.
Elliot, 23, bought his hound from specialists Phoenix Dogs, who posted a photo of the animal online, saying: “Training journey starts here.”
England’s Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish and Liverpool’s Alexander Isak have protection hounds.
