GARY Neville transitioned from legendary Red Devils defender into one of the UK’s most prolific businesspeople.
The entrepreneur is appearing on Dragons’ Den 2026 and has a diverse portfolio of business interests deeply rooted in his passion for Northwest England.

The footballer first got into property development in his early 20s and owns a chain of hotels and townhouses, as well as development projects.

Alongside former teammate Ryan Giggs, Neville owns a 40 per cent stake in the Stock Exchange development, which is close to Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester.

In January 2026, Neville sold a majority stake in The Overlap to radio firm Global.
The England legend said: “The Overlap started as an idea that we thought people might like and we went for it.
“What has happened since then has been a great journey and it’s a team that I love working with and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of.
“We never thought of it as a business, we just wanted to create something that people loved and would come back to watch every week.”
Alongside David Beckham, Gary also in charge of Salford City FC, which was initially bought by five members of the ‘Class of 92‘, though the rest have since relinquished their shares.

Neville joined Dragons’ Den as guest Dragon for series 21.
His addition to the panel was announced in October 2023, with episodes featuring the former defender airing from January 2024.
