Tottenham narrowly avoid relegation and Arsenal secure long-awaited title in latest Premier League supercomputer

The boffin machine was fired up by CasinoHawks following a thrilling top-flight weekend.

And it has come up with a final Premier League table which sees some interesting finishes for a number of sides.

The small matter of the title is first on the agenda.

Arsenal have led the way since day one and looked to have let Man City back in with some poor results over January.

But the Gunners got back to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Leeds as City were held to a 2-2 draw by Spurs.

It means Arsenal are now six points clear at the top.

And they are now being tipped by the supercomputer to remain there until the final day, finishing as Premier League champions by a margin of four.

City will be runners up ahead of Aston Villa, who will finish 13 points off Arsenal in third after seeing their title challenge vanish over winter.

Interestingly, Michael Carrick’s Man Utd are tipped to return to the Champions League with a fourth place finish.

But with English sides set to benefit from an extra spot, Chelsea are also set to play in Europe’s top competition with Liam Rosenior guiding the Blues to fifth.

It means Liverpool will be forced to settle for Europa League football with a sixth-place finish.

They will be joined by plucky Brentford, who are backed to exceed all expectations under Keith Andrews and come seventh.

Meanwhile, another underdog is set to play in the Conference League barring Carabao and FA Cup results, with promoted Sunderland back to finish eighth.

The top half is completed by Everton and Newcastle, with Brighton, Fulham and Bournemouth following on their heels.

Heading towards the relegation battle, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest will eventually be safe.

There will be good news for Tottenham too, who are back to come 16th and beat the drop zone by just seven points.

Leeds are also tipped to survive, finishing just one point behind Spurs.

But it’s bad news for West Ham, who are expected to go down while six points away from safety.

Burnley are cut loose once again from the Premier League on 23 points.

While dismal Wolves will finish bottom on 15 points, picking up just three wins all season.
