Erling Haaland paid staggering £17MILLION in tax last year but which Premier League stars complete top ten?

ERLING HAALAND tops the Premier League tax list with a staggering £16.9million being paid to the treasury over the past year.

According to The Times‘ 2025 findings, Haaland has contributed comfortably the most of any other player in England’s top division.

The Manchester City striker, 25, is reportedly earning around £500,000 PER WEEK.

Haaland, the Prem’s top scorer this season, also gets an extra £10million from bonuses and image rights.

His contract at the Etihad runs until 2034 as well, making him one of the biggest contributors in the country.

Haaland’s tax still pales in comparison to the very top of the list, with the Done family of gamblers paying out £400million.

Mo Salah, 33, is the only other PL figure inside the top 100.

He paid out £14.5million in tax and signed a new two-year deal at Liverpool in April.

His Anfield team-mate Virgil van Dijk is fifth on the list at £9.8million.

Between Van Dijk and Salah are Manchester United midfielder Casemiro and Raheem Sterling.

Casemiro, 33, will be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season when his deal comes to an end.

Sterling, 31, finally managed to end his Chelsea nightmare when terminating his contract at Stamford Bridge.

He hadn’t played for the Blues for 18 months but was still sat on a huge £325k-a-week deal which ran until June 30, 2027.

It’s then a Manchester-dominant run with Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva (both £9million) before Omar Marmoush (£8.8million).

Former City forward Gabriel Jesus sneaks into the top 10 with estimated tax paid of £7.9million.

Fellow Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz finishes it off and is level with Jesus.

In total, Premier League players are believed to have paid back over £100million in tax.
