SERGIO RAMOS is fronting up a mega-money bid to buy former club Sevilla.
The Spain and Real Madrid legend, 39, has been without a club since leaving Mexican side Monterrey last month.
Ramos ruled out retirement upon becoming a free agent – but plans are seemingly being put in place for when his playing days are up.
And he won’t be short of things to fill his time with if he becomes a major shareholder at his boyhood club.
According to The Athletic, Ramos is spearheading a Sevilla takeover bid worth just shy of £350MILLION.
The hot-headed defender, who has a net worth in the region of £58m, would not be the biggest investor in a consortium which also includes US investment firm Five Eleven Capital.

But he is being used as the public face of the proposal, which is taking concrete steps towards completion.
Ramos and his backers have reportedly lodged a letter of intent, opening up a three-month exclusivity period for them to seal the deal.
But there is plenty of probing to be done before the World Cup-winner commits to coughing up.
Bidders have set up an external audit to shed light on Sevilla’s finances, which have worsened in recent years.
The club lost £71m and took out a £94m loan in 2023-24, while their overall debt is believed to sit around the £156m mark.
Another investment group pulled out of the takeover process last year after making checks of their own.
Ramos, who met various Sevilla shareholders with his legal team earlier this month, grew up in the region and made his senior breakthrough with the club in 2004.
He went on to spend 16 years with Real Madrid and two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain before returning for a second spell in Seville.
Ramos has played over 1,000 games and scored 150 goals for club and country during a glittering career which has seen him win four Champions Leagues, four Club World Cups and seven league titles.
