MANCHESTER UNITED are holding talks with Wrexham about a pre-season friendly this summer.
United and the Red Dragons are already in the process of navigating their summer schedules as the 2026 World Cup, which takes place in June and July, is complicating plans.
According to The Mail, discussions have been held between the two sides but nothing has been decided at this stage.
The potential friendly is expected to take place in Europe with Scandinavia posing as the likeliest venue.
In fact, Man Utd could play two pre-season friendlies this summer in Scandinavia.
That would mark the first time the two teams face off since their most recent friendly in San Diego back in July 2023.

That game, which saw Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney‘s side winning 3-1, was not without controversy.
Then Wrexham ace Paul Mullin suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs after a challenge from then Man Utd goalkeeper Nathan Bishop.
The Welsh outfit’s boss Phil Parkinson seemed deeply unhappy that night against the Red Devils.
And Reynolds had to intervene by sending a message to Bishop after he was targeted with abuse online.
If the game goes ahead then it’s likeliest that Man Utd and Wrexham will play after the World Cup in July.
The same source adds there won’t be time between the end of the campaign on May 24 and the start of the World Cup on June 11 for United to go back to Malaysia and Hong Kong.
That means Ruben Amorim’s side won’t be able to repeat last season’s visit to Asia that earned the club around £10million.
