On the undercard of the Jaron “Boots” Ennis vs Uisma Lima event, rookie sensation Zaquin Moses showed poise and skills as he defeated Baltimore native Antonio Dunton-El Jr (6-5-2, 2 KOs) by way of unanimous decision.

Antonio Dunton-El Jr was determined, but Moses proved to be a level above his opponent. The 20-year-old Zaquin Moses didn’t get the knockout, but he got some solid work inside the ring, and most importantly, he added another win to his record.
During his amateur days, Zaquin Moses grasped the attention of fight fans when he defeated Curmel Moton. Shortly after his big amateur win, Moses turned pro and signed on with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing.
In the opening round of his fifth pro fight, the southpaw Zaquin Moses was on his back foot as his opponent Dunton-El Jr aggressively lunged forward attempting to land the overhand right. Moses maintained his composure and proceeded to land a sharp right hook.
Early in the second round, Moses connected with the right hook, and Dunton-El Jr responded by landing the two-three combination. Late in the second round, Moses landed a solid straight left-hand shot.
Moses proceeded to take over in the third round as he was able to land sharp combinations on multiple occasions. In the fourth round, Dunton-El Jr forced Moses against the ropes and proceeded to shoeshine the body.
During the second half of the fourth, Moses walked Dunton-El Jr down as he consistently landed the right hook. In the fifth and sixth rounds, Moses continued to show poise while efficiently landing his offense.
At the conclusion of the 6-round super-featherweight contest, all three judges scored the bout 60-54 in favor of the Newark, New Jersey native Zaquin “Zaybop” Moses. With the victory, Moses improved his record to (5-0, 3 KOs).
