Why do England and Wales players not have names on the back of their shirts?

ENGLAND are set to welcome Wales to Wembley in a blockbuster clash.

The Three Lions continue to build towards the 2026 World Cup in USA under Thomas Tuchel.

The former Chelsea manager has split opinions since taking charge of the side, but a win over local rivals Wales would go a long way to endearing England fans.

The Welsh side will be hoping to build momentum at Wembley, with a huge clash against Belgium in the World Cup qualifiers coming up.

But – fans may have noticed something different about the English and Welsh shirts in the second 45 in the capital.

SunSport can reveal why there are no names on the back of the players shirts in the second half at Wembley.

The sides will play with names on their shirts in the opening 45, before they wear different shirts in the second without any names.
