Leeds 1 Tottenham 2: Mohammed Kudus fires Spurs to second place with first goal since £55m transfer

MOHAMMED KUDUS scored his first Tottenham goal to send them second and continue Thomas Frank’s impressive start.

The Ghanaian’s smart left-footed finish in the 57th minute proved the difference in a fiesty game at Elland Road.

Kudus, who joined Spurs for £55m in the summer from rivals West Ham, also set up Mathys Tel’s opener.

Tel’s shot from just inside the box rocketed past Leeds keeper Karl Darlow after a big deflection.

Leeds levelled before half-time after Guglielmo Vicario could only parry Brenden Aaronson’s deflected strike into the path of Noah Okafor.
