NEIL WARNOCK has offered to manage Manchester United for FREE after poking fun at Ruben Amorim.
The Portuguese boss is under mounting pressure at Old Trafford after a poor start to the season.
The Red Devils are slumped down in 14th in the Premier League table with just two league wins from six.
This poor form has led to doubts over the former Sporting Lisbon manager, with multiple names tipped as replacements.
This includes former United star Michael Carrick and Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
However, Warnock has jokingly thrown his hat into the ring and has undercut the other candidates.
He made the offer after poking a bit of fun at Amorim for his use of a tactics board in the Carabao clash against Grimsby Town.
Amorim reverted to the board in the dugout as the Red Devils crashed out to the League Two side on penalties.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “When you talk about that, have you ever laughed so much in your life?
“When he has got a little Subbuteo table on his lap in that game.
“Looking at that and I’m thinking I cannot believe what he has just done in front of the cameras.
“I mean I’ve seen it all, but listen I’m available if they’re struggling, and I’ll go in.
“I won’t charge them anything, I’ll do it for nothing.
“So put my name in the hat.”
Warnock’s comments come after he shared a picture of the Premier League table created by Men in Blazers, with each of the clubs’ names replaced by a pun or joke.
Man Utd were renamed “Paging Neil Warnock”, so he cheekily captioned his post: “Give me a call in January,” which he followed with a laughing emoji.
Warnock then revealed the formation – which has been a huge topic of debate for Amorim given United’s struggles – he would play.
He simply wrote: “4-3-3”.
United currently insist that Amorim is safe, even with his Premier League win rate at just 27.3 per cent.
