Terence Crawford “Easily” Handles Lara and Adames, But Janibek Is a True Challenge, Says Tim Bradley

Terence Crawford “Easily” Handles Lara and Adames, But Janibek Is a True Challenge, Says Tim Bradley

Tim Bradley says Janibek Alimkhnuly is the only one at 160 that would give Terence Crawford any problems. He states that Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) would beat WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara and WBC champion Carlos Adames “easily.”

Can Crawford Handle Janibek?

Bradley dismisses all the top super middleweight contenders, saying they have “nothing of value” for Crawford. He feels that only Janibek does. Interestingly, the top four contenders at 168 would be pure trouble for Janibek and likely be too powerful.

“He would beat Adames easily. He would beat Lara easily. Janibek, that’s a different challenge for Crawford, and I think he knows that,” said Tim Bradley on his channel about who he believes would give Terence Crawford a worthy challenge.

“All these other guys at 168, the Mbillis of the world. They have nothing of value for Crawford,” said Bradley.

The Mount Rushmore Obsession

Tim doesn’t say what he means by stating that the fighters at 168 don’t bring anything “of value for Crawford.” This is code language for the top super middleweights are bad news for Crawford, who would spoil his unbeaten record and his vision of being placed in the Mount Rushmore of boxing by future generations of fans.

The Big Four Overlooked

  1. Osleys Iglesias
  2. Christian Mbilli
  3. Lester Martinez
  4. Diego Pacheco

“I’m talking about legacy. I’m talking about extreme challenges. There’s only a few guys out there that could challenge Crawford, and I just named them,” said Bradley.

Tim only mentioned Janibek Alimkhnuly, whom he believes would give Crawford a challenge, which would overlook four to six fighters at 168 that would be a pure nightmare for him. Besides the above fighters that I don’t think Crawford beat, even on his best day, these contenders would be a lot of trouble for him:

  • William Scull
  • Bektemir Melikuziev
  • Kevin Lele Sadjo
  • Caleb Plant
  • Jose Armando Resendiz

William Scull is a better version of Crawford, but with superior power, hand speed, and mobility. Resendiz’s power and inside fighting ability would give Crawford a lot of trouble.
