Son of football legend and brother of Premier League star scores screamer for Barcelona U19s

SHANE KLUIVERT scored a screamer for Barcelona’s Under-19s that his superstar dad and brother would have been proud of.

The 18-year-old forward boasts Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert as his father.

And he also has a famous brother in Bournemouth winger Justin Kluivert.

But Shane is forging his own path while playing for Barcelona’s youth side.

The former PSG academy man has been starring in Catalonia following a move there in 2017.

And he faced his former side on Wednesday in a tense Uefa Youth League clash.

PSG took the lead at the Estadi Johan Cruyff through Chtai Telamio.

Barcelona then found themselves up against it when Campos was shown a straight red card.

But Kluivert pulled the Spaniards back in with a scorcher of a strike in the 58th minute.

The ace latched on to a good pass before cutting in off the left wing.

Kluivert continued driving towards goal with the ball at his feet.

And as space opened up, he unleashed a howitzer of a shot.

The ball sailed past PSG’s goalie to level the scores.

And Kluivert’s effort sparked wild celebrations amongst his team-mates.

But things got even better for 10-man Barca when they took the lead soon after through Xavi Espart.

Fans were delighted with Kluivert’s effort, with one saying: “Wow, incredible football.”

Another declared: “He’s from the same batch as Lamine Yamal.”

One noted: “A legend’s kid living up to the hype.”

Another added: “We need him in the first team ASAP.”

Kluivert has some way to go before matching his dad and brother’s feats.

Patrick scored 122 goals for Barcelona and won the 1999 LaLiga title while also enjoying success at Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.

As for Justin, he has scored 22 goals at Bournemouth following spells at clubs including Roma and RB Leipzig.
