‘I don’t care’ – Man City star Dias takes dig at rivals Arsenal and their ‘mind games’ ahead of Premier League clash

RUBEN DIAS took a pop at Arsenal and said: We have no interest in your mind games.

And he believes that is a key reason why Manchester City have won so much in recent years — while certain others remained trophyless.

City and Arsenal contested two furious clashes last season and it is expected to be spicy at the Emirates on Sunday.

But Dias said: “I don’t really care about them. I just care about us.

“If other people want to play games because of rivalries, or whatever feeds them, then go ahead.

“We believe in what we do. And we do it for ourselves, our families, our fans and our club.

“That’s the way to be — and that’s how you pull off what we pulled off.

“And nothing is bigger in our minds than knowing we have to be the best version of ourselves.

“It doesn’t matter who we are playing against.”

The bad blood between the two teams started as City pipped the Gunners to the title  in 2023 and 2024.

That was part of a run of four Prem crowns in a row for Pep Guardiola’s team, who also won a historic Treble two years ago.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s side have not won a major trophy since they lifted the FA Cup in 2020.

Arteta drops shock update about Saka return, but does he really need to risk him against Man City?

At the Etihad last season Erling Haaland chucked the ball at Gabriel’s head and then had verbals with Miles Lewis-Skelly.

Both wound him up in Arsenal’s 5-1 romp at the Emirates.
