FANS were left in hysterics after spotting what was being advertised on the hoardings during Serbia vs England.
Early on in the match the hoardings flashed up with adverts for Anusol – a cream for treatment of piles.
The advert made it clear what the product was by boasting ‘The UK’s #1 Piles Treatment’.
It was an unusual advert to see at a football match.
So viewers were left in stitches and expressed their bewilderment.
One said: “The pitchside advertising of Anusol has added a real #ATouchOfClass to proceedings.”
Another added: “The Anusol ads are particularly special.”
A third wrote: “Love the fact we’ve got ‘Anusol, the UKs #1 Pile Treatment’ advertising at the Serbia v England game this eve.”
And another commented: “The Anusol ads are particularly special.”
England’s trip to Serbia proved eventful as Three Lions stars were targeted with lasers pointed from the crowd.
The game was briefly paused late in the first half with Ezri Konsa and Reece James both hit.
There were further crowd issues when riot police had to move in when fights broke out among home supporters.
Fans were also left complaining about the TV coverage of the match against Serbia with some saying it was giving them a “headache”.
Many took to social media to complain about the distance between the pitch and the camera.
The view of the match appears to be from very far away, with there being a large gap between the pitch and the stands.
But England fans did at least enjoy the result as the Three Lions ran riot, winning 5-0.
Goals from Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi and Marcus Rashford marked the best performance seen since Thomas Tuchel took charge.
