Ex-Man Utd star left with bloodshot eyes and ‘close to throwing up’ after taking on crazy eating challenge

BEN FOSTER was left with bloodshot eyes and close to “throwing up” after taking on a crazy fish and chips eating challenge.

The former Manchester United ace visited Mansfield Town to take on their infamous challenge alongside viral star Adam Moran.

Moran, 40, has 5.6million subscribers on YouTube and 1.6m more on TikTok.

His channel Beard Meats Food sees him take on food-eating challenges around the world.

He was joined by Foster for the visit to the Stags to take on the ‘Big Fish & Chips Challenge’ at Sandy’s Bar inside the One Call Stadium.

The duo were presented with an enormous portion each, which included a mountain of chippy chips and two pieces of beer-battered cod.

But that was not all as they also had a side of four slices of bread and butter as well as mushy peas, tartar sauce and curry sauce.

Those who take on the challenge have to pay £20 or finish it within 30 minutes to get it for free.

Moran made his was through the challenge with ease and cleaned his plate with just under three minutes to spare.

Foster, 42, however was unable to finish his food in time as he left many chips and slices of bread as well as his peas untouched.

The retired goalkeeper did start to look a little worse for wear as was pointed out by Moran.

The YouTuber said: “Your eyes are starting to look a little bloodshot.

“Are you going to throw up?”

Foster took a second to answer before playing down the fears as he later insisted he would “take a look” at the desert menu.

He did end up being dished the special cornflake tart with pink custard.

But after putting some dessert into his “pudding hole” he admitted he could not “eat anymore”.

Fans reacted to the video by flooding the comment section.

One posted: “We don’t deserve Ben Foster.”

A second wrote: “Ben is nearly crying.”

A third commented: “Ben has done well there to be fair.”

Foster joined United back in 2005 from Stoke City but only made 12 Premier League appearances for the club.

He spent most of his time on loan away from Old Trafford and ultimately left the Red Devils in 2010.

The eight-time England international joined Birmingham City and won the League Cup in his debut season.

Forster went on to have spells at West Brom and Watford before retiring at Wrexham.
