Crump wins back-to-back Women’s Champion of Champion titles

England Golf Girls’ Squad star Lauren Crump (above) continued her amazing season, as she defended yet another title.

The 16-year-old from Shropshire, who made it back-to-back English Girls’ Championship titles in July, was in scintillating form yet again on Sunday, as she triumphed over 36 holes at Woodhall Spa’s Bracken Course to win the English Women’s County Champion of Champions title for the second year running.

Her first round in the morning yielded six birdies in a round of -2 (70), with England Regional Squad player Daisy Lee hot on her heels – as she was at the English Girls’ Championship.

But a mesmerising second round from Crump saw the Hill Valley golfer make NINE birdies in a 6-under 66, to win the tournament by a whopping seven shots.

Lancashire’s Lee was 2nd after finishing on -1 overall, with Cornwall’s Danielle Hardwick in 3rd on +3. See the final leaderboard here.
