Inoue vs Akhmadaliev: Undisputed World Title Fight in Nagoya on Sept. 14

September 14, 2025. Nagoya, Japan. Aichi International Arena. Naoya “Monster” Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) puts every super-bantamweight belt on the table against Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KOs). One fight, one winner — the whole division locked up.

The Monster’s Grip on 122

Inoue’s record speaks for itself. Thirty fights, thirty wins, and a KO ratio that makes heavyweights jealous. His last two? Ramón Cárdenas – folded in eight. Luis Castillo – same story. Inoue isn’t edging decisions, he’s wiping people out.

The rest of the division? Tapales hanging around, Fulton trying to rebuild, Vargas drifting. Everyone’s chasing scraps while Inoue’s got the belts tight in his grip.

Akhmadaliev’s Long Wait Finally Ends

MJ’s been shouting for this fight for ages. Earlier this year, he snapped: “We can’t keep hearing ‘next fight, next fight,’ while they slip in other bouts.” Fair point — he was stuck in the cold while Inoue cleaned house.

After beating Espinoza, Akhmadaliev got loud. Inoue didn’t stay quiet either, firing back online: “Why would I run from someone who lost to Tapales?” Brutal but true.

Now MJ’s got what he asked for. Southpaw stance, heavy to the body, awkward rhythm — he’s no pushover. But against Inoue? That’s another story.

MyPrediction: Can MJ Survive the Monster?

Akhmadaliev’s a strong fighter, but he’s walking into the lion’s den. Inoue dissects guys like it’s homework, and Nagoya isn’t neutral ground — it’s Monster’s backyard.

If MJ can drag it late, fair play, but the smart money’s on Inoue chopping him down inside nine. Motivation won’t save him when the Monster starts dialing in.
