‘What the hell is going on?’ – Furious Erling Haaland ‘can’t sleep’ after shock decision taken by his former club

ERLING HAALAND declared he “can’t sleep” after being left infuriated by his former club’s shock decision.

The Manchester City star went online to blast Norwegian side Bryne after they terminated the contracts of three first-team stars midway through the season.

The minnows lie third-bottom of the league table with just five wins from 20 matches.

They are without victory in their last seven outings.

And should they finish in that spot, Bryne face a relegation play-off to remain in Norway’s top flight.

But their task became seemingly harder after three stars were axed for good.

Captain Axel Kryger, Jens Husebo and Robert Undheim have all been booted from Bryne.

Norwegian media claims there was also a failed changing room petition to get rid of manager Kevin Knappen.

And Haaland could not resist speaking out about the dire situation on social media.

The City ace started his youth career with Bryne in 2005 and remained there until 2017 when he was picked up by Molde.

Haaland scored 18 goals in 14 outings for Bryne’s reserves but amazingly failed to net in 16 senior outings.

Heading online, Haaland said: “Speak out, Bryne FK. What the hell is going on?”

Responding to a fan who asked why he wasn’t sleeping, Haaland answered: “Yeah I should but it’s chaos in my hometown club and it p****s me off so now I can’t sleep.”

It remains to be seen whether Haaland’s intervention causes any further changes at Bryne.

Despite being axed, fallen ace Undheim said: “Never doubt that I love Bryne.”

Former teammate Kyrger added: “We chose to go our separate ways. That’s how it had to be, and both the club and I agreed on that.

“I wish Bryne all the best and have had a great time there. It ended badly, but that’s how it is sometimes.”
