Man Utd legend Denis Law’s family agree sale on his home after it went on the market for £1.25million

THE family of Denis Law have agreed a sale on his home after it went on the market for £1.25million.

The four-bedroom property was owned by the Manchester United legend, whose nicknames included the King and the Lawman, before he died from dementia in January at the age of 84.

He shared the house, in Bowdon, Gtr Manchester, with wife Diana, who died in May 2024 aged 85.

Law left a will worth £2million, which will be split between his five children, Diana, Gary, Andrew, Robert and Iain.

Law was with United from 1962 to 1973, and scored 237 goals in 404 games.

He earned 55 caps for Scotland and in 1964 was the first Scot to win the Ballon d’Or prize for best player in Europe.

He won two league titles at United and helped them to victory in the 1968 European Cup.

After his death, the club hailed him as the “ultimate goalscorer”.

Born in Aberdeen, he started his career at Huddersfield Town.

Law had two spells at Manchester City and played for Torino in Italy.
