Both the Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) and Washington Commanders (7-3) had key players back on the practice field this week in preparation for their key NFC East showdown on Thursday Night Football (8:15 p.m. EST, Prime Video).
The Eagles opened the 21-day practice window for star left tackle Jordan Mailata on Monday. He’s since been removed from Philly’s injury report altogether after logging three consecutive practices without a setback on his injured hamstring.
The Commanders will have top rusher Brian Robinson Jr. back in the lineup after he missed the past two games with a hamstring injury of his own.

Both teams will need as many healthy bodies as possible in what should be a playoff atmosphere at the Linc on Thursday night. Here’s a full team-by-team breakdown, with the latest updates off of Wednesday’s final practice reports:
Eagles vs. Commanders: Full injury designations
Philadelphia Eagles
None
With Mailata officially activated off of injured reserve, the Eagles will have their full complement of starters available for Thursday night. The only player listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday was wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), but he’s good to go against the Commanders.
Washington Commanders
Out
- CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring)
Lattimore’s anticipated Commanders debut will have to wait another 10 days. Still dealing with a hamstring issue while playing for the New Orleans Saints prior to the NFL trade deadline, Lattimore was once again unable to practice this week. Benjamin St-Juste, Mike Sainristil and Noah Igbinoghene will likely serve as Washington’s top cornerbacks against the Eagles.
Washington’s kicker missed last week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was once again ruled out on a short week. Veteran Zane Gonzalez filled in and went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts and 3-for-3 on extra points. He’ll be called upon again in Seibert’s absence.
The Commanders will be down a key member of their special teams in Bellore, who has logged 188 snaps with those units this season. He’s seen little run on defense in a reserve linebacker role, though, so his absence shouldn’t be felt there.
Questionable
- LT Brandon Coleman (shoulder)
Coleman was listed as a limited practice participant all three days this week. He played through the shoulder injury last week against the Steelers, logging all 64 offensive snaps. The rookie has worked his way into a full-time role on the left side in the absence of Cornelius Lucas, and there doesn’t appear to be a ton of concern about his availability for Thursday night.
- LT Cornelius Lucas (ankle)
Lucas is nearing a return to action after missing Washington’s past two games with an ankle injury. The veteran had been splitting time with Coleman, and with the rookie battling a shoulder injury of his own, the Commanders would love to have their full platoon available against a tough Eagles defensive front.
- RT Andrew Wylie (shoulder)
Wylie missed last week’s game against Pittsburgh, pressing veteran NFL journeyman Trent Scott into action on the right side. Scott held up well in the game, allowing only one pressure in 41 pass blocking snaps, and he could be called upon again. Wylie was listed as a limited practice participant on all three days this week.
